Autovia reaches over 15 million car owners, buyers and enthusiasts every month through its leading print and digital titles including Auto Express, evo, DrivingElectric and Carbuyer, as well as its annual automotive satisfaction survey, Driver Power. As a leading publisher of automotive content, Autovia offers automotive partners innovative solutions in advertising and this acquisition will significantly grow Carwow’s reach and capabilities with in-market car buyers and sellers in the UK.

Combined with Carwow’s world-leading content, which includes its YouTube channel that generated over 1.1bn video views in 2023, the acquisition significantly expands Carwow’s audience reach. It will add to Carwow’s advertising and e-commerce capabilities for its car manufacturer and dealer partners, to help meet the growing digital demand to engage with millions of consumers who are considering changing their cars. The deal also presents new opportunities for embedding Carwow’s e-commerce offering for new and used–car sales across Autovia’s brand titles, as well as for motorists looking to sell their old cars.

Spring Daytona Turkey Run returns to Daytona Beach

Chrome, carburetors and custom cars will soon shine as the 34th Annual Spring Daytona Turkey Run classic car show again rolls into Daytona International Speedway.

When the three-day event unfolds March 22-24, expect the track’s immense infield to be jammed with classic and custom cars, a multitude of gearheads who love them and every imaginable automotive accessory from toggle switches to tailpipes.

Visitors stroll among thousands of classic cars at the 2022 edition of the Spring Turkey Run at Daytona International Speedway.  The 34th annual event is slated to return March 22-24 in Daytona Beach.

What happens at the Daytona Spring Turkey Run?

In addition to the display of more than 5,000 collectible vehicles, daily events include a massive swap meet as well as an array of vendors with art and fashion items tailored to the four-wheel crowd.

On Sunday’s closing day, events feature the annual 2 pm Classic Car Parade Lap around the Speedway track. For those with classic cars, it’s included in the event’s participant fee.

How many cars does the Daytona Turkey Run have?

Besides the mentioned 5,000 collectible show cars on display, the event also showcases some 1,500 customized vehicles for sale by owners in the Car Corral. Dan Sale announces retirement, Sale Auto Mall under new ownership — Neuse News

Dan Sale, the owner of Sale Auto Mall in Kinston, has announced his retirement and the subsequent sale of the dealership. Established in 1986, Sale Auto Mall has been a significant player in the local automotive industry. The business includes BMW, Kia, Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, Ford, and a wide variety of certified used vehicles.

“We are selling to another family auto group, the Deacon Jones Auto Group from the Smithfield/Goldsboro area,” said Sale. “It was important for us to have another family group take over. They will take good care of my wonderful 100 plus employees.”

The next chapter for Sale is a future business called Sale Land and Sea Collectibles, which will feature classic cars, motorcycles and boats. It will be located near Lowes.

“I have the building, but it will remodel before we officially open,” said Sale. “I need to take a break first.”

This period of transition is a family affair. Cathy Sale, Dan Sale’s wife, is also set to retire in February.
